Tourism Association (AVESTA) - The Annapolis Valley Events & Sport
Tourism Association exists to promote the Annapolis Valley region as an event destination
by facilitating, identifying, and supporting the retention and expansion of cultural,
festival, sport and unique events.

- This year marks the 77th Apple Blossom Festival, a Valley wide festival.

Applelicious Valley
- The theme for the 77th Apple Blossom Festival. Applelicious is a celebration
of everything apple, whether culinary, wine or an event that a chef, winery or community
can devise using Nova Scotian grown apples.
Municipality of the County
of Kings - The Municipality of the County of Kings is located on the beautiful
Bay of Fundy and much of the Municipality is made up of the fertile Annapolis Valley.
Capes Blomidon and Split are part of the Municipality of the County of Kings.
Town of Berwick - The
Town of Berwick awaits you in the heart of the Annapolis Valley. Berwick is
home to Berwick Gala Days and the Apple Capital Museum and Visitor Information Centre.
Play a round of gold at Berwick Heights Golf Course, not far from the town.
Town of Kentville
- The Town of Kentville is centrally located in the Annapolis Valley along the scenic
Evangeline Trail. The yearly Apple Blossom and Harvest Festivals occur in
Kentville. During the Fall, pumpkin people can be seen all around town.
Sports are a large part of the Town of Kentville, with the indoor soccer facility,
soccer fields, arena, baseball fields and swimming pools.
Town of Wolfville
- The Town of Wolfville is home to Acadia University, fine accomodations and restaurants
and is home to one of the smallest harbours in the world.
Village of Greenwood
- The Village of Greenwood, the "Valley's Hidden Jewel", is home to 14
Wing Greenwood and the Greenwood Military Aviation Museum.
Village of Kingston
- Kingston, the "friendly village", is home to the Kingston Steer BBQ
and Village Fair. Play a round of golf at the Paragon Golf & Country Club.
Village of New Minas - The
Village of New Minas, "a good place to live", has countless eating establishments,
accomodations and over 300 commercial outlets. New Minas has numerous recreational facilities
including: the New Minas Skate Park and Ken Wo Golf & Country Club.
Village of Port Williams
- Port Wiliams is a thriving agricultural waterside communitiy rich in history and
natural beauty. A good place to watch the world's highest tides, Port Williams
is close to the Prescott House Museum and Blomidon Provincial Park. Take time
to explore the Acadian Dykes in Port Williams.
