2. Kentville will have a consistent marketing and communications plan;
3. People will want to live, work and play in Kentville;

Berwick Economic Development Advisory Committee
In 2007, in response to the priority identified by Berwick Town Council, and the community at large, to promote and facilitate economic development in the greater Berwick community, the Berwick Economic Development Advisory Committee was created. The committee was the creation of the Western Kings Board of Trade, Berwick Town Council and the Kings RDA. Recently, the Kings Mutual Century Centre has become a partner of the committee.
Vision
The vision of the Berwick Economic Development Advisory Committee is that Berwick will thrive as a vibrant community with unique opportunities to live, work, play and do business.
Key Objectives
1. Develop a sustainable economic development strategy that will identify opportunities
and encourage specific initiatives to enhance economic growth and improve quality of life as identified in the goals.
2. Identify and provide advice, which will include recommended actions, to address issues hindering economic growth or that are negatively impacting on quality of life.
3. Identify and secure funding opportunities to financially enable the overall operations of the Economic Development Advisory Committee and fund the specific initiatives.
4. Lead initiatives that will further economic development where currently no local champions or organizations exist.
5. Develop an open and consultative environment whereby all industry sectors, and the community as a whole, are welcome and encouraged to provide input on initiatives and issues being addressed.
6. Assist in the promotion and endorsement of a positive image for the Berwick community.
